CEIPSO Príncipes de Asturias is located in Pozuelo de Alarcón, a suburb in the Northwestern outskirts of Madrid. Although this school includes pre-school, primary, and secondary education, there are separate buildings and schedules dedicated to each division.
My school is a bilingual school, so the students start learning English from the moment they enter Infantil, and continues throughout their education here in the primary and secondary schools. As CEIPSO Príncipes de Asturias is a Bilingual school, aside from the regular English classes, many of the courses are also taught in English, including Natural Science, Social Science, Art, and Physical Education.
I was placed at CEIPSO Príncipes de Asturias to teach primary school, mainly the 4th and 5th grade classes. Each grade is split up into two classes of 24-28 students, so each lesson is taught twice so that the entire grade remains on the same page.
My schedule was split in a way that made me work with the 5th graders the most, however, I always had at least one class every day working with 4th grade. In both grades I worked in the subjects of English, Natural Science, and Social Science, as well as one art class in 5th grade every Friday.
